The carriers usually carry 40 small fighters as well but I just remove their orders and keep them in storage while fighting stations. The destroyer I find best for the job is the Behemoth since it doesn't seem to take damage at all and seems to have an easier time using it's main guns.įor the small installations I usually send 2-3 Behemoths and ~10 Heavy fighters on intercept, for the large hives I send 2 of my big fleets of 1 Carrier, 8 Behemoths, ~20 Heavy fighters each. The next best thing is making sure you have weapons equipped that are well suited for OOS combat but you already got that covered with plasma turrets. ![]() IMO the only practical way to deal with this is in a timely manner is to simply send more ships, until you have the economy to do that there's not much else you can do. ![]()
